Artist statement:
If you want something bad enough, close your eyes and make a wish. As an adult it seems so contrary to our society's values to actually believe that if you simply ask it will grow.
As I think of it, my family has encouraged me naturally to use the law of attraction. As far back as I can remember, I was taught how to make a wish before blowing out my candles. I remember wishing wells and fountains that Grandma took me to and then giving me a penny to throw in. "But first," she would explain, "you must make a wish!" Even when I was blowing the seeds of our wonderful Wisconsin dandelions in the spring after they turned to fuzz, I was told to make a wish.
Back then I fancied a happy, prosperous family. And as fate would have it today, I have a supportive husband and two of the greatest children! Now, I have a new longing. I've picked up my brush after being out of the art world for several years.
Today, I yearn to continue being present in my family's life, be a supportive member of my community and to make meaningful art. I want to paint everlasting art, have the prosperity that comes with it and make your wish for art come true.
Welcome to my gallery~my personal dream.
